Essential Skills are those developed abilities needed for work, learning and general life. They provide the foundation for learning the skills that enable individuals to evolve and adapt to workplace change and shifts in everyday realities.
These nine skills are utilized at different levels of complexity in nearly every work related occupation and throughout daily life.
Essential Skills Include:
Reading Text, Document Use, Numeracy, Writing, Oral Communication, Working with Others, Continuous Learning, Thinking Skills, Computer Use.
