Inclusion Facilitator:

• Supervises, facilitates and disciplines the participant with special needs in safe, planned activities including initiating, instructing, assisting camp participants in games, songs, crafts, and free play, performing first aid as needed and reporting to Camp Director for documentation
• Responsible for facilitating the participant with exceptionalities either one-on-one or in a group setting
• Meets with other counsellors, Camp Director, and Camp Co-ordinator to discuss program content, areas of concern, participant behaviour and to exchange ideas
• Liases with parents and responds to inquiries and/or concerns and/or resolves/refers same to appropriate staff

Camp Director

• Coordinates the delivery of safe camp activities and special events including the preparation of program plans and assistswith the purchase of equipment, inventory records and completion of off-location permission forms and incident reports; overseeing camper pick-ups and drop-offs on location
• Supervises Camp Counsellors (Junior and Senior) Camp Attendants, inclusion facilitators LIT'S, and volunteers including scheduling, training, monitoring, and evaluating

Camp Co-Ordinator

• Plans, Co-ordinates, and supervises a Parks, Recreation & Culture Department designated program area, day camps, and activities including monitoring the programs and making suggestions as needed
• Makes recommendations concerning staff selection
• Supervises assigned staff including scheduling, training, performance reviews, etc

• Three of more current certifications such as Leader in Training program, Babysitting Course, NCCP or equivalent
• Experience working with children kindergarten age - 14 years including children with exceptionalities
• Ability to deal courteously and effectively with day camp participants, staff, bus drivers, parents, and the general public
• High Five Principles of Health Child Development Certification
• CPI (preffered)
• Standard First Aid & CPR
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, instructional, written and program delivery skills
• Completion of first or second year university or college preferred or equivalent experience
• Excellent leadership, supervisory, public relations, and time management skills

• Assists with and performs surveying, drafting, design, estimating and constuction inspection duties including topographical surveying, geodetic surveying, quantity surveying and construction surveying
• assists with development and grading inspection, plan review, drafting, surveying, filing, compose letters/memos/reports in response to public and interdepartmental inquiries

• Operating road department equipment (tractor, pick-up truck, and roadside grass mower)
• Opening and closing of park gates and washrooms, park maintenance, including picking up litter, checking and replacing garbage, cutting and trimming grass, sports fields maintenance and lining, watering and weeding of flower beds
• Greeting visitors and residents, issuing resident passes and parking passes
• Responsible for obtaining compliance with Town of Georgina and Region of York Traffic By-laws through the issuance of tickets and/or summonses, completion of a daily activity notebook and responding to various inquiries
